Cancellation Policy & Refunds

We understand that plans can change. To keep things fair for both clients and our schedule, please review our cancellation and refund terms below.

Dog Walking, Drop-In Visits & Pet Sitting (Daytime Only)

  • Cancellations made more than 24 hours in advance: No charge.

  • Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance: 100% of the service fee will be charged.

  • No-shows or same-day cancellations: No refund provided.

  • Repeated last-minute cancellations may result in declined future bookings.

Dog Training (In-Person or Online)

  • Cancellations made more than 48 hours in advance: Full refund or free rescheduling.

  • Cancellations within 24–48 hours: 50% of the session fee will be charged.

  • Cancellations within 24 hours or no-shows: Full session fee is non-refundable.

  • Pre-paid packages: Non-refundable but may be rescheduled within 60 days of purchase.

Retainer Policy for Regular/Recurring Services

For clients with regular, recurring bookings (e.g. weekly dog walks, daily drop-in visits), a retainer fee helps ensure your dedicated time slot and our availability.

  • Retainer Fee Purpose: This fee is charged to hold your specific time slot when you are unable to use our services (e.g. during client holidays, extended absences, or planned breaks). This allows us to maintain your preferred schedule upon your return.

  • Application: If you plan an absence from regular services lasting longer than our standard 24-hour cancellation window for individual sessions, a retainer fee equivalent to 50% of your regular weekly service fee will be charged for each week of absence.

  • Interaction with Cancellations: If a scheduled service falls within a period covered by a paid retainer, our standard 24-hour cancellation policy still applies to individual services. The retainer covers the holding of the slot, not individual cancelled sessions without proper notice.

  • Non-Refundable: Retainer fees are generally non-refundable, as they are paid to reserve your dedicated time slot and compensate for our guaranteed availability during your absence.

Refunds

  • Refunds will be processed within 5–7 business days to the original payment method.

  • If services are cancelled by us due to weather, emergencies, or illness, a full refund or reschedule will be offered.

  • We do not provide refunds for unused sessions in multi-session packages unless there are exceptional circumstances.

Weather & Emergency Cancellations

  • Services may be rescheduled or adjusted in extreme weather for safety.

  • In cases of emergency (yours or ours), we will communicate promptly and reschedule or refund as appropriate.
